Previous workshops were on "Quantitative Imaging and Dosimetry in Nuclear Medecine" and "Targeting and Imaging of tumor microenvironment".

Our main objective is to organize a European workshop which brings together biology,  physic, chemistry, applied to external and targeted radiotherapy. Overview lectures will be given by experts in the scientific fields. Young researchers will get the opportunity of a first talk in a European meeting to present their research projects. In order to stimulate intense discussions between young and senior scientists, the total attendance is limited to a maximum of 60 persons.

The symposium is organized into 5 sessions held within 2.5 days. Each session will start with an invited expert summarizing the essence of a selected aspect of the biology of ionizing radiations. Then, it will be followed by 6 oral presentations from young researchers, based on original data, and selected from proffered abstracts.

30 travel grant awards are available for young researchers (PhD students and Post-Docs). Each award consists of complimentary registration to the workshop, accomodation, and up to 250€ to cover travel expenses. Candidates must submit an abstract and must be selected as speaker in one of the scientific sessions.

Deadline for registration extended to June 24th 2010
